Get TrueBlue Points for Amazon Prime

Adding to the long-term partnership to earn TrueBlue points for buying stuff from Amazon, JetBlue is running a week-long promo to get 3,000 points for signing up for Amazon Prime. This offer is much more limited than the other deals between the two companies but if you’re considering signing up for Prime this week for the first time then 3,000 points isn’t a bad bonus for the effort. All Prime purchases must be completed by 11:59pm EDT on 8 May 2017 to get the bonus points.

After the weeklong promotion ends it is still possible to earn TrueBlue points for buying a Prime subscription, but only at the 3 points per dollar rate rather than at this 10x multiplier. There is no bonus for a Prime gift subscription, previously purchased Prime, student/trial accounts or most other nonstandard scenarios. And if you previously were a Prime member but let it lapse that’s also out. That’s a lot of carve-outs on the promotion (I’m actually not sure if I’m eligible or not; I might’ve had Prime once when it first came out but I don’t remember) but for a few folks this could be a nice way to earn some bonus TrueBlue points.

And, of course, once you have Prime all future shopping on Amazon through the JetBlue TrueBlue links will get the typical 3 points/dollar earning. Not too surprising that the two companies are willing and able to throw some bonus points out in hopes of altering consumer behavior and driving more spend and more loyalty in the long term.
